Saves time

People in today’s society do not have enough time to exercise due to work obligations and/or family commitments. After a busy day, not many of us have the time or feel like going to the gym or train outside for an hour and a half. WB-EMS training, however, only requires half an hour including changing and the workout session itself, which is why this method is so popular. The 15-minutes workout session equals to 60-90 minutes conventional training, thus the time, which will be spent on getting in shape, is shortened.

Targeted Muscle Building

Due to electrodes placed on main muscle groups, it is now possible to stimulate the body simultaneously.There are muscles,however, that are difficult to develop. By choosing the appropriate training program these muscles can also be targeted during workout.

Simultaneously Muscle Training

During training the entire body is stimulated at once. Inside the technical wear, there are pairs of electrodes separated for each major muscle groups: chest muscles pectoralis), back muscles (latissimus), biceps and triceps (biceps brachii and triceps brachii), lower abdominal muscles (rectus abdominis), buttocks (gluteus muscles), thigh flexor and extensor muscles, and calf muscles (gastrocnemius). The impulses occur virtually at the same time within each muscle group. The intensity could be adjusted separately for each body part without any pulse intensity change in other areas. This is one of the key benefits of this technology. Even when we focus on arm training, our thighs are also being developed. Compared to conventional strength training, the EMS technology is 150 times more effective. About 40 micro-contrac- tions are created per second, which is equal to 36,000 contractions during the 15-minute workout session. This corresponds to about 20 series of workouts per muscle group, which is hardly feasible in the gym. On average, approximately 10 minutes of training are spent on each individual muscle group, but thanks to the EMS technology this can be reduced significantly, by about 80-85%.

Muscular Astmmetry

The WB-EMS technology provides the opportunity to train each muscle group separately. Misbalanced muscle developments can be caused by certain sports, working habits or even genetic abnormalities. Muscle groups that are either misbalanced or just difficult to build up can be also developed by WB-EMS trainings. Due to inactive lifestyle, muscle groups can become shortened or deformed, particularly the skeletal muscles. Muscle stimulation is an excellent solution to these types of problems, as specific muscle groups can be developed.

Low Impact on Bones and Joints

The training is accomplished without using additional weights, as the load is produced by the intensity of the impulses. Therefore, the overload and injury of the joints can be avoided and also workouts at appropriate levels can be carried out for recovering and sensitive joints.

Increases Metabolism

During an EMS session you will burn up to 500 calories but due to the increase in metabolism you will continue to burn additional calories over the next 48-72 hours after the session is over! It is important to note that as in all trainings methods, the fat burning effect does not happen in a direct way. Due to the intensity and efficiency of E-Fit trainings, fat loss and muscle formation occur more quickly for ones following a proper diet plan.

Back Pain Relief

One of the most important effects of the electrical stimulation is the capability to reach and move muscles located deeper within the body. Some of these muscles are deep back muscles and muscles located next to the spine. These are responsible for body posture and been weakened by modern sedentary lifestyle, leading to back complaints. Muscle stimulation helps strengthening these muscles and re-enable them to perform their functions and to hold the spine properly. As a result of reinstated posture, back pains can be eliminated efficiently.

Individual Custom Workouts

The WB-EMS trainings are conducted in the form of personal trainings. The personal trainer sets the desired program by communicating with the customer. The settings are determined by the customer’s fitness level, age, gender and current mood. As opposed to conventional strengthening workouts, the WB-EMS trainings emphasize the observation of body reactions, thereby avoid overtraining. The individual’s body and muscle awareness is increased by the sensation of separate muscle contractions in each muscle group.

What can you expect for your session?

1.After booking your first session you will be directed to a fitness assessment and waiver form. The assessment will help us understand your goals and current lifestyle habits to determine the best approach to designing your program. 

Although EMS training is scientifically proven to be beneficial to all walks of life, demographics, fitness levels and goals, there is a list of health conditions where EMS training would either not be allowed or would require a release from your medical physician.

2. Our technology requires a 95% cotton undergarment to be worn under the EMS suit. This allows the electrodes to have a proper connection to the body for effective functionality. 

In an effort to provide the best customer experience we provide this undergarment to you along with a towel, bottle of water, and a little snack to help restore energy levels at the end of the session. 

If you choose, you can purchase your own personal undergarment set for $50. 

3. After you change into your undergarment we will get you dressed into the suit. During your first session we will be sizing you for your technical gear and getting all your settings in place. From that session moving forward you can expect that your dress up time to be less than 5 minutes. 

While your getting your undergarment on, your trainer will be preparing the suit by applying high p/h water solution to the electrode pads which is the conductor that allows this technology to do its magic. 

The suit is made of breathable, light, and durable antibacterial fabric. Besides the arm pads the entire suits cable and electrodes system is fitted into the material to avoid snagging or tangling on the cables.

4. Now the work will begin. You will go through a series of basic exercises in a strategic sequence including your warm up, strength training, and finishing off with a cool down with our TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) setting to break down inflammation and lactic acid buildup making the recovery period that much more effective. 

The selection of exercises, settings of our unit and the intensity will all be customized to the specific needs, goals, and fitness level of each client. 

From your session you can expect to feel as though you just went through an intense 60 minute workout.
